Transfer your existing Enshrouded world save from another hosting provider, a local dedicated server, or a co-op session to your WinterNode server.

From another hosting provider

  1. Download your world files from your previous host - you need the contents of the savegame directory
  2. Stop your Enshrouded server on WinterNode
  3. Upload the files to the savegame directory using SFTP or the File Manager
  4. Start your server

From a local dedicated server

If you’ve been running a dedicated server on your own machine, the save files are in the same savegame directory inside your server installation folder. Follow the same upload steps above.

From a co-op session

Enshrouded co-op saves are stored locally on the host player’s machine. To move a co-op world to a dedicated server:

  1. On the host player’s PC, find the save files in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Enshrouded\saves
  2. Stop your WinterNode server
  3. Upload the save files to the savegame directory on your server using SFTP
  4. Start your server

Verifying the transfer

After uploading and starting the server, connect and check that your world loaded correctly. Look for your bases, explored areas, and character progression. If the world loads as a fresh map instead, double-check that the save files are in the correct savegame directory and not nested in an extra subfolder.
