Installing Palworld Mods

Install Palworld mods by uploading .pak files to your server. Follow steps for backups, file locations, and Windows compatibility tips on WinterNode.

Palworld provides scripting/modding support for the server, so you can upload .pak files to your server to enhance your game play experience. Follow these steps to install mods on your Palworld server.

  1. Download the .pak files for the mod you want to install.
  2. Stop your server using the GCP.
  3. Take a backup of your server!
  4. Access the File Manager.
  5. Go to the Pal/Content/Paks/~mods folder.
  6. Upload the .pak file to that directory.
  7. Start your server using the GCP.
